About Your Local Hub
The concept for this community website and social media platform has been in my heart for awhile, and I'm so very thrilled to finally bring it to life. I personally enjoy local handmade soaps, venues, and have turned to locals with a skilled trade when needing home repair. Our community is rich with people being crafty and skilled, and I want to bring it all together in one place, and most importantly tell your story!
My name is Erin, and I'm an acute care hospital RN, a self proclaimed nutrition and health nut, and someone who loves the community that I live in. I'm bringing this website and the ability to have a listing as a goodwill offering to my community and the surrounding areas. This is FREE, and there's no catch. Once you get listed, you'll never be asked for any money, ever. In the future, if we want to get fancy with an online store, I may do some voluntary community fundraising to help with that cost, and that would come from locals who like the website and what it offers, and who would chose to make a donation.
Slowly infiltrating this website and the social media platforms, I hope to eventually incorporate an element of health and wellness to help us all benefit from each others' ideas, recipes, health hacks, and products, to help everyone live a full and vibrant life. I'd like to be here to cheer you all on, and use our community resources to make life feel a little more "local."

How to "get listed"
The fastest way to get your small business, hobby, or craft listed is to:
Email me at YourLocalHubPrinceton@gmail.com with:
(1) A quick message with your name, business, and a description of what you do.
(2) Attach your logo if you have one, or give me permission to use what I find on websites/social media. (I can make you a logo if you don't have one)
(3) Let me know if you have a website or any social media with info I can use
Every ad has a "bio" which is a few sentences, or in many cases a paragraph about your business or hobby. The goal is to understand what you offer and learn a little about you. I can copy this from your website or social media, or I can write one for you based on what I find. After I create the ad, I'll send you links so you can preview it, and give it your blessing, and from there it'll stay "live" on the website, and get shared to the Your Local Hub Facebook Page with tags and mentions. In many cases, a lot of you already have very developed social media sites with content and videos, and the ad can contain links to every website and social media platform you want. For some folks who don't have as much of a social media presence (that's completely fine!), I have been pulling together content, and then make a video slideshow listing to help bring everything together in one clip!
So, whatever your preference is, I can accommodate! Say, "Erin just throw something together for me" and I'll get it taken care of, or let me know details of your specific vision and we'll work together to make it happen!
